Caroline Harris and Lexica Aperture 4.0 / 2024
 
From the sequence Tender Kittens – a collaboration with Lexica Aperture 4.0 AI image generator. I wrote the poems in response to photos of the 17 AI-generated kitten portraits in ‘Playing Dress-up with AI’ by Graphic Thought Facility (2023) in the ‘Cute’ exhibition at Somerset House. These had been made with an earlier version of Aperture. I then copied and pasted each poem as a prompt for Lexica, selecting my preferred option from the variations that it offered. The IMG titles relate to the numbering of the images on my phone.
 
These cards are digitally printed on 350gsm uncoated card.
