Caroline Harris / 3rd edition 2026

A deck of 22 poetic tarot cards with a poem for each of the named and numbered major arcana cards on one side and a magnified colour halftone image on the other. The poems explore the interrelationships between two characters, Doe and The Passenger. The images on the reverse are all different and, although it may not be immediately obvious, have been created from photos and illustrations of deers collected from social media, personal emails, newsletters and websites. Inkjet printed on to Daler Rowney Smooth-Heavyweight 220gsm card. This third edition is wrapped in silver and gold fleck recycled paper and secured with green linen bookbinding thread.

The Taro as Deer full 78-card deck, including Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles, will be launching as a Kickstarter. Follow Caroline Harris there for updates.
