small birds press reuses packaging where possible, so you may receive a pre-sent (anonymised) Jiffy bag. Otherwise, I use recycled card and paper, and paper tape, for packing, and aim to finish up previously bought (or found) supplies.

While I aim to send out as soon as I can, for Cut-out Bambi and other items that are made to order, times may be longer. I will keep you informed! Items are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 in the UK. The international shipping rate is also for tracked services, which can take anywhere between 3–5 days (for Europe) and several weeks to arrive. Please email to check and/or if you would like a quote for additional postage to secure a faster service.

small birds press aims to post everywhere, but is not responsible for any VAT or import charges. Please be aware that if you live in the EU, VAT may now be charged on your order in your country, while tariffs are having an impact on orders to the US. If you are buying from outside the UK, it is safest to get in touch.

statement on Wix and BDS: please order direct by email

The small birds press website has been made with and is currently hosted by Wix. In line with the BDS-supported organic boycott of Wix, I have cancelled the press’s subscription. However, this will not take immediate effect, as unfortunately it’s a multi-year contract that would leave the press considerably out of pocket for little to no effect on Wix. However, to avoid Wix benefiting from transaction fees on sales, please do get in touch direct on smallbirdspress@gmail.com to purchase, rather than using the shopping basket.
